Malaika and I visited Victoria BC this weekend, with the dogs. Stayed at Abbeymoore Manor Bed & Breakfast, which we highly recommend – modern apartment-style dog-friendly rooms in the lower level, and more classic rooms on the 2nd and 3rd levels. Drove around the coast a bit to Sidney and back; walked around downtown; went to the park near Government House a bunch with the dogs. A sampling of the pictures we took…

Malaika found a Smart Car, available in Vancouver, and Eric found Kilkenny. (Note: I haven’t had Kilkenny Ale, my favorite beer, since we were in Ireland, as it’s next to impossible to find. Apparently according to Wikipedia, that’s due to non-compete agreements, and it’s only available in a few countries such as Ireland and Canada. Time to start regular trips to Canada for two-fours…)

And finally, a panoramic as we left the harbor on our way home – Note the exposure levels are a bit funky, next time I do one of these I need to remember to set the exposure setting, and not leave it on ‘Automatic’…
