Ok, blogging this instead of emailing — that way I can still bcc everyone via email, but comments can be global
Plus, I can pretty-print the lists…
There’s a plethora of activities coming up, including lots of bands coming through. Let me know if you’re interested, and if I should buy group tickets!
- H.P.Lovecraft: The Colour Out of Space: thu 19oct 8pm (free!), also playing now through 11 nov. I’ve seen these guys do amazing stuff with Lovecraft before – previously with puppets! – and they do something new every year come halloween-time. From Seattle Weekly:
- KMFDM: tue 31 oct – at Neumo’s. Also: Combichrist, Black Japan. Brent and I have been planning on going for months, but have never gotten around to getting tix (afaik). Ads now say “Tickets almost gone!” Anyone?
- Gwar: wed 8 nov – at the Fenix. $18 adv. Also: The Red Chord, Municipal Waste. I could take it or leave it … anyone interested? I heard that someone is
- Waiting for Godot: 8-12 nov – at The Moore. Incredible Existentialism. You Must Go. Or Not. Beckett rules. I wish Cathy were here for this… I’m definitely going, anyone else?
- Danzig: fri 17 nov – at the Fenix. $23 adv. Also: Lacuna Coil, The Haunted, Belphegor, Asesino. I’m definitely getting tix for this!
- Primus: thu 30 nov – at the Paramount. I’m actually not planning on going to this, having seen them before, but they’re deinitely worth seeing if you haven’t.
- Guns ‘n’ Roses: sun 10 dec – at Everett Events Center. Ok, yeah, I already got tickets to the Everett show. Just reminding everyone… come see Axl whine!
- L.A. Guns, Bulletboys: mon 11 dec – at Studio Seven. Ok, I’m kidding. Sorta. No, really. (Kidding, that is)
The fourth annual installment of Open Circle’s excellent series of H.P. Lovecraft stage adaptations, this year including an original piece based on Lovecraft’s cosmology created specifically for this show. Open Circle Theater, 429 Boren Ave. N., 206-382-4250, www.octheater.com. $13. Opens Fri. Oct. 6. 8 p.m. Thurs.-Sat., also matinees 3 p.m. Sun. starting Oct. 15. Ends Sat. Nov. 11.
There really were a ton lots more shows that I didn’t even mention. Veruca Salt, Sepultra, etc etc.

I’ve gotten interest in Godot and Lovecraft. Anyone else? Godot has a shorter run, so considering…
For Lovecraft: avoiding Halloween weekend,
