Who We Are
Island Gopher is a Personal Errand Service company on Bainbridge Island, WA, started in September 2005 by Malaika Brodeur. Island Gopher is there for busy people who find it hard to get the little things in life done.
Island Gopher LLC is Licensed, Bonded, and Insured. We are a member of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce .
What We Offer
- Island Gopher was created so that you can have more time to do the things that really matter to you.
- New parents? Now you don't have to bring a baby or little ones to the grocery store to get diapers, or other essentials.
- Visiting the Island? Don't have a car at your hotel? Call Island Gopher to pick you up some groceries and snacks!
- There are never any membership or monthly fees to deal with; you pay only for what you use. The cost of your purchases, if applicable, are NOT included in our hourly rate.
- Island Gopher's hours are 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, though special requests can be made [in advance] for weekends and holidays, and after hours, for an additional fee.
- Another significant benefit we offer: by keeping you off the streets (or at least reducing the amount of driving you do), and by consolidating delivery for many consumers, less fuel is used and emissions are reduced. Island Gopher uses a Honda Civic Hybrid low-emissions, high gas mileage vehicle.
- Senior Citizens get a 10% discount.
- Gift Certificates are available.
